Privacy Policy

Who we are
Bajantube operates Bajantube Max. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Max. Contact privacy@bajantube.com for privacy questions or to request access, correction or deletion of your information.
Information we collect
Account information includes your name, email address, account identifier and the sign-in methods linked to your account. If you choose social sign-in, we receive the account identifier and profile information provided by that service, which may include your name, email address and profile image. We do not receive your social account password.
We also process comments, replies, reactions, saved posts and other information you submit. Technical information can include your IP address, browser and device information, request times, error reports and security logs. Avoid putting private or sensitive information in public comments.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, authenticate sign-ins, link the sign-in methods you request, deliver media, save your preferences, display your contributions and respond to support requests. We also use it to investigate errors, prevent abuse, moderate content and meet legal obligations.
Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing is necessary to provide the service you request, pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting Max, comply with legal duties, or act on your consent. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
What other people can see
Comments and replies you publish, together with your display name and any displayed profile image, can be visible to other people with access to that content. Do not assume that sign-in restrictions prevent screenshots or sharing by other viewers. Public share previews may show a post thumbnail and limited descriptive information without showing the protected media.
Social platforms and service providers
When you choose to comment on an Instagram or Facebook post, Max opens the original platform. Comments made there are handled by that platform under its own terms and privacy policy. Linking a sign-in account does not mean Max publishes to that account on your behalf.
We use hosting, email, storage and content delivery providers to operate Max. Account and community data is stored through our WordPress backend; media is stored and delivered using Amazon Web Services, including S3 and CloudFront. Those providers process information needed to provide their services. Information may be processed outside Barbados. Where required, appropriate safeguards must apply to international transfers.
We may disclose information when legally required, to protect people or the service, or to advisers and authorised service providers who need it for their work.
Cookies and device storage
Max uses cookies for sign-in sessions and authentication security. Browser storage may remember preferences such as sound settings and recently used emojis. Installing Max as a PWA may store app resources on your device. Your browser can buffer or cache media for playback. Clearing browser data can remove these preferences and sign you out.
Retention and security
We retain account information while needed to operate your account, and contributions while needed to provide the service, subject to deletion requests and applicable obligations. Security records, backups and dispute records may need to be kept longer. Retention depends on the purpose and legal requirements rather than one period for all information.
We use access controls and other technical safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep access to your email and linked sign-in accounts secure.
Your choices and rights
Contact privacy@bajantube.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information or account. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive portable data or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security or dispute purposes; we will explain any applicable exception.
You can raise concerns with us and may complain to the relevant data protection authority. In Barbados, this is the Data Protection Commission.
Children and changes
Bajantube Max is for people aged 18 and over. People under 18 may not use Max. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account or provided personal information, contact privacy@bajantube.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The updated date appears above. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
